The magazine bucket is custom molded for your specific gun magazine, and features the same adjustable retention available on our gun holsters. We also incorporate a riser shaped like an inverted “V” in the bottom of the magazine well. The top round rests against the riser – whether facing to the rear or the front – and thus your magazine fits perfectly inside the magazine bucket.
The Cloak Mag Carrier has been designed to work as both an IWB mag carrier and OWB mag carrier. The carrier comes standard with two belt clips, one for IWB carry and a larger clip for OWB carry.
For use as an IWB mag carrier, attach the IWB clip and the IWB backing pad, made from the same closed-cell neoprene and Alien Skin materials as our Cloak Tuck 3.0 holster.
For use as an OWB mag carrier, simply attach the larger OWB clip and remove the backer.
You’ll also find that cant is adjustable as well. Our Cloak Mag Carrier can be adjusted in 22.5-degree increments, including a fully horizontal position.
If one isn’t good enough, then you can take two, as we also have a dual mag carrier option as well. To carry dual magazines, select the dual magazine option.
Our dual magazine holder package includes a double-magazine bracket for OWB carry. The dual magazine bracket is compatible with the belt attachments for the Cloak Mod OWB holster – including both the paddle holster and belt slide attachments.
