We advise people not to speak to the insurance company adjuster before speaking with an attorney first. You can call your own insurance company to let them know that an accident happened, let them know it wasn't your fault, and to set up a claim for purposes of getting your car repaired but you should limit what you say because the insurance company can use your recorded statement against you.
