Cybercrime police on Friday arrested a folk singer Kovan for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa in lyrics he has written. Police said Kovan had been associated with the Makkal Kalai Ilakkiya Kazhagam, an outfit involved in revolutionary activities in the state.
