Naxalites have attacked army in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district. an Army jawan is dead, another seriously injured in an IED blast by Naxalites. This has been reported by a news agency. Security has been heightened across the insurgency-hit areas of Chhattisgarh, particularity in Bastar region, as the Maoists are observing the Peoples' Liberation Guerrilla Army week from December 2-8 to commemorate their slain leaders.
