In a latest brutal attack Boko Haram militants attacked three villages in north-eastern Nigeria that killed 30 people injuring 20 others. The Islamists invaded the villages, hacking and slaughtering their victims before setting the villages on fire. At least 17,000 people have been killed since 2009.
