Islamist militants attacked beachfront restaurants in the Somali capital Mogadishu that killed 20 people on Thursday evening. Two car bombs exploded about an hour apart. A suicide car bomber rammed the gates of a restaurant near a beach where explosion the occurred. The extremist group Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
