Now passengers with unruly behavior may be handcuffed on flight. Indian airlines has got the permission from Directorate General of Civil Aviation to carry plastic handcuffs, called restrainers, in a bid to restrain unruly passengers. Many of the airlines like IndiGo, SpiceJet have been carrying carrying restraint devices on its flights for some time now.
