The U.S. Department of Justice is ready to seek the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Attorney General Jeff Sessions stated at a news conference that the department is stepping up their efforts on all leaks and will put some people in jail. “This is a matter that’s gone beyond anything I’m aware of. We have professionals that have been in the security business of the United States for many years that are shocked by the number of leaks and some of them are quite serious. So yes, it is a priority. Assange has been avoiding arrest by hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for the pass five years. The WikiLeaks founder can only be arrested if Ecuador evicts him or honors extradition.
