ATF, Tactical Police Lock Down Buildings After 2 Officers Shot in Downtown Seattle

Two police officers were injured after being shot in Seattle, Washington, on Thursday, April 20, after they responded to a robbery near Western Avenue and Madison Street.

According to the Seattle Times, one officer was considered in “satisfactorily condition” while another was in critical condition.

Police arrested a woman who they believe is connected to the shooting. A male suspect was found dead. The Seattle Police Department tweeted a third person may be involved and detectives were investigating.

Nearby buildings were on lockdown and streets were closed as police officers wearing tactical gear swarmed to the scene.
