At least 16 people were killed on Wednesday, April 19, after heavy rains caused mudslides in Manizales, Colombia, according to the country’s disaster management agency, UNGRD.
Teams from the Colombian armed forces, civil defense, firefighters and Red Cross searched for survivors and started clean-up efforts on Wednesday and Thursday.
