John Oliver - Bill O'Reilly, Part 1

Over the past 15 years, O'Reilly has paid almost $13 million in settlements to five women who either worked for or appeared on his popular Fox News show, The O'Reilly Factor. The host engaged in "verbal abuse, lewd comments, unwanted comments" and "phone calls in which it sounded as if [he] was masturbating," The New York Times recently reported.

Despite O'Reilly's settlements, the network stood by their employee, claiming that "no current or former Fox News employee ever took advantage of the 21st Century Fox hotline to raise a concern." And, of course, the host has President Trump on his side. In a recent New York Times interview, the Commander-in-Chief called O'Reilly "a good person," adding that he "shouldn't have settled."

Oliver recapped the situation, explaining, "Bill O'Reilly needs advertisers, and Donald Trump needs to understand sexual harassment." To educate all, he recruited Last Week Tonight's reliably wise guest, the Catheter Cowboy, and filmed a new TV ad to appear on Fox News in New York and Washington D.C.
