Astronauts Prepare for Rocket Launch in Southern Kazakhstan

Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin and US astronaut Jack Fisher arrived at the launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in southern Kazakhstan Thursday, April 20.

The pair, who form the Expedition 51, were set to board the Soyuz MS-04 spacecraft aboard a Soyuz-FG carrier rocket, which was scheduled to launch from Baikonur around 7:13 GMT, NASA reported. The rocket was expected to dock to the International Space Station around six hours after the launch.
