Iraqi forces in Mosul said on April 18 they had taken over a building in the west of the city that was being used as by Islamic State’s health department.
Forces erected barricades around al-Farouq district, and killed Abu Hajir al-Rusi, a Russian IS member, near al-Thawra district, the Iraqi News reported, citing Federal Police chief Shaker Jawdat.
Iraqi state sources said that only six neighborhoods in west Mosul were still held by Islamic State, though this number could not be verified.
This footage, released via Iraqi Federal Police, shows servicemen with birth and death certificates from the IS health department.
