Netflix is nearing 100 million subscribers worldwide, since the video streaming company launched a decade ago. The company is predicted to hit the mark this weekend, according to first-quarter projections. The service grew by 5 million subscribers during the first three months of 2017, and is to finish the year with 100 million customers in 190 countries. Of the 98.7 million subscribers, around 51 million are based in the U.S.
