Romulo Galicano is a traditional artist whose figurative works are guided by lines and movements often employed in the creation of abstract art.
On this episode, Galicano, born in Carcar, Cebu, talks about the making of "The Triumph Of Live Over Death," an oil painting about Yolanda (international name: Haiyan), a super typhoon that claimed at least 6,000 lives in Philippines.
"The Triumph Of Live Over Death" is to be unveiled at the 2014 ManilART from Oct 16-19, 2014 at SMX Convention Center Taguig.
