The adults and children of Khanajue Kee, a village at the Thailand-Myanmar border, occasionally gather in the afternoon for a karaoke session — a fun, effective method for learning Thai language.
The “edutainment” initiative was launched by the UNESCO Bangkok Office and the Tak Provincial Office of Non-Formal and Informal Education. The project aims at raising literacy rates and educational engagement among villagers.
