Two female suspects accused of murdering a male national of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) appeared in court for the second time in Sepang in Malaysia on Thursday.

The two suspects, 25-year-old Siti Aisyah from Indonesia and 28-year-old Doan Thi Huong from Vietnam, showed up at a local court in Sepang at around 09:20 for a hearing, which lasted for approximately 25 minutes.

They, along with four other suspects from the DPRK, have been charged with the murder of a man identified as a DPRK national at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Feb. 13.

The prosecution said they could not transfer the case to the high court now because they needed more time to collect documents from several departments.

The defense team said police failed to supply CCTV surveillance videos from various locations around the airport or confessions from three of the DPRK suspects.

The formal hearing of the case has been postponed further to May 30.

The two female suspects were charged with the murder by the Sepang court on March 1. The two face the death penalty if they are convicted of the crime.
