The game will be based on the Marvel comics, rather than the recent film, and as such, will have a different set of voice actors from the film. The cast currently includes Scott Porter as Star-Lord, Emily O'Brien as Gamora, Nolan North as Rocket Raccoon, Brandon Paul Eells as Drax the Destroyer, and Adam Harrington as Groot.[2] The plot will center on the Guardians finding an artifact of great power that each individually covet, but must protect it from a malicious entity that wants it for themselves.
