Security forces used tear gas to disperse crowds gathered in Caracas, Venezuela, for anti-government protests on April 8.
Among those affected, as seen in this video, was Juan Andres Mejia, a member of the National Assembly and founder of the opposition party Voluntad Popular.
The latest unrest in crisis-hit Venezuela has followed a March 30 Supreme Court ruling that temporarily stripped power from the National Assembly.
There were further protests in Caracas on April 10.
