Shia LaBeouf's Latest Art Project is Isolation in a Finnish Cabin

Shia LaBeouf is continuing his love of art – this time by going to a deserted island.

Yep, the Man Down actor’s latest stunt is to spend a month isolated in a cabin in Finland’s remote Lapland region… and his only communication with the outside world is through text messages to visitors to a Helsinki museum.

He’s calling the project Alone Together… and it involves 2 other members of his art collected. Those two members will be spending time isolate in separate cabins in the same area.

Visitors to the Helsinki museum can visit a cabin and send a text to Shia and he can respond to visitors… but they can’t speak with one another.

Maybe all of this is in response to his previous art project He Will Not Divide Us, that was moved and shut down indefinitely after protests and violence erupted at those installation sites.

The public can view a live stream of Alone Together of museumgoers texts on the museum’s website.
