Colombian Navy, Locals Save Whale Off Coast of Cartagena

Locals, aided by the Colombian Navy, saved a grounded whale in the shallow waters of Barbacoas Bay near Cartagena, Colombia, on April 11, by dumping water over it and guiding it to deeper waters.

A statement from the Navy said that the whale was approximately 50 feet in length and the rescue operation took five hours.
