My LaBrae High School students were asked to create a :30 stop motion film. This film is from Noah, a junior. Additionally, students had to create a story that centered around their film. From the author:
In a world that is in desperate need of entertainment there is a group of gummy bears to answer the call. These death defying gummy bears will perform amazing acts that almost seem unreal. As a group they will show case gymnastics and teamwork to accomplish great things just for your entertainment. As the acts go on one member will feel that he is under appreciated and will use his cunning wits to demolish the team. He comes from a broken gummy home and can no longer feel unwanted. He begins his devilish plots by making simple mistakes at first, not hurting anyone, but becoming an annoyance. As he begins to hear talk about him getting booted off the team he begins to take it up a notch and and “accidentally” injures the star performer. Now that they are short staffed the team has no choice but to keep the annoyance. This will turn out to be their gravest mistake. He will not stop until the world famous flying gummy bears are no more. The green gummy bear not only begins to fiddle with his teammates work life, but now begins to fiddle with their home life. He finds ways to put himself in the lives of their children, husbands, and wives. The green gummy bear is very manipulative and can make anyone like him. Now that he has a way to truly hurt his teammates he just uses it as blackmail. He begins to climb the ranks of the group not for his talent, but for his cunning ways. He reaches his leader status due to the fact of the injuries taken on by the leader. The leader watches performance and performance from the crowd and begins to wander what has happened to his disciplined group of gymnasts. Their biggest show of the year is coming up and the leader will stop at nothing to heal from his injuries. The biggest show of the year is also the green gummy bears big chance to completely tear the group a part. After intense rehabilitation the leader can finally continue in his gymnastics. As he tries to return the group shuns him away out of fear of the green gummy bear, so the leader is forced to let his team go. The big show is to be held in New York and the largest amount of fans they have ever performed in front of are reported to show up. The green gummy bear plans to make the big finally tank and make the whole crowd boo as the flying gummy bears will have lost all of their credibility. The leader will have no choice, but to watch from the crowd and see his amazing team fail. Everything the leader has put into it will be lost and the green gummy bear will have succeeded his dream. As the show goes on the leader senses something is wrong and begins to make his way to the front of the crowd. He is standing right in front of the gates as he watches the green gummy bear begin to shift his weight in the wrong places. The leader hops the fence to come to the rescue. http://BestDramaTv.Net
