Increasing Breast Size through Breast Fat Grafting and Use of Implants

In this video, Dr. Gavin Sandercoe of Norwest Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery in Sydney talks in length about breast fat grafting.

It is a viable way of increasing the size of breasts in women. Fat is taken out from some other part of the body, processed and is then injected back in and around the breast. After about a year of surgery about a third of the fat that is put in will stay in the breast. This procedure is especially good for women that have had their breast removed due to cancer. A breast can be recreated through this process of grafting.

Implants give more predictable results as their shape and volume remain as it is unless something untoward happens to the implants.

Dr. Sandercoe says that in spite of everything, women prefer to use their own tissue for breast grafting instead of fat sourced from somewhere else.
