Taylor Swift’s Beverly Hills home just became a lot more historic, officially.
Travel + Leisure reports that the Beverly Hills City Council approved her 11,000-square-foot, $25 million dollar estate to be a historic landmark in the city of Los Angeles.
No, not because they really enjoyed 1989.
Legendary Hollywood producer, Samuel Goldwyn, originally owned the 4-bedroom mansion… You know, the G in MGM… And it has been a staple of the community since it was built in 1934.
Beverly Hills Major Lili Bosse reportedly told Mansion Global, “I think this is a true community gem and really so thrilled that this will be landmarked and preserved.”
Taylor is definitely focused on preservation, and now the city will have a responsibility of maintaining and restoring the tennis court, pool, outdoor patio area, library, card room, home theater, and other amenities that have remained the same since the ‘30s.
Let’s just say T-Swift made a great investment.
