An eyewitness to an attack on a shopping street in Stockholm on Friday (April 7) recalled seeing a truck approaching at 50-60 km/h, running people over and finally crashing into a department store before catching fire.
The you man, who did not give a name, also said he saw a family with a small child being saved thanks to a lamppost in the truck's path.
Another young man said he saw several people "lying on the ground injured."
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, killing and injuring several people, the Swedish police said on their website.
