Not surprisingly, Tucker Carlson says that Susan Rice calling for “unmasking” of incidental surveillance of the Trump team is worse and scarier than anything that Russia has done.
Tucker, as usual, is full of it. That Susan Rice asked for unmasking of individuals in surveillance isn’t absolute proof of an evil conspiracy against Trump. Remember, Trump had ties to Russia for years – not necessarily bad either. So they would have had plenty of “incidental” surveillance because to do business in Russia is to do business with the Russian government.
The revelation, on its own, is just fuel to demand that she explain what she did, but it’s not a smoking gun. Carlson has to say this to keep the conspiracy rage fired up among his viewers…
