Toyota is one of the best automobile manufacturers, or at least that is what sales figures say a year after another. However, Corolla is one of the least favorite models on the market for several reasons. As a compact car, it lacks that special something that makes driving a car a fun experience. The design is dull, and there are very few people who would choose it in place of another compact vehicle. This seems to be a problem that stretches way into the past, as this is already the eleventh-generation model. What started of as a subcompact car, grew over time into what we see today, but to no avail. It only remains to be seen whether the 2018 Corolla is going to bring enough changes for it to become an actual contender on the market.
We believe that they are going to go for a standard update of the exterior. This means a larger grille, and more aggressive bumpers. We hope to see a definite change in the design of this model, something that will separate it from the mass of bland cars. There is nothing that the current Corolla stands out with, nothing that makes it special. This is what we would like to change. Expect to see different headlights and taillights as well, equipped with the latest LED technology. There are also rumors of a new modular platform which would reduce the weight of the car. This platform will improve the rigidity of the car, as well as fuel efficiency.
The interior is going to be updated with the latest in automotive technologies. Some of the more interesting gadgets include a 6.1-inches touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, WiFi hotspot, satellite radio, navigation system and many others. The five seater is going to remain as comfortable as ever
