Entertainment Tonight and former Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell had just stepped into entertainment journalism barely one year before she was assigned to cover Princess Diana‘s shocking death, but 20 years later, she believes it’s still one of the biggest stories that ever happened.
“She was this huge superstar, and in the Royal family that had lacked charisma for centuries, she had it,” O’Dell said in a sneak peek clip. “She had this huge heart and at times she could be a little odd, but that actually lent to her popularity. Nobody could ever describe Princess Diana as boring. She was this icon, and arguably the world’s largest public figure, and globally adored for all the charity work that she did.”
The new series is set to show a montage of photos, video and even her own personal interviews she had about the late People’s Princess and her fatal car crash in 1997.
