Heavy thunderstorms swept through the Houston, Texas, area on Wednesday, March 29, leading to flooding in the surrounding neighborhoods.
This video was taken from the Edgebrook neighborhood, southeast of Houston. A flash flood warning was issued for much of the area on Wednesday night, and Houston residents were warned to avoid low-lying areas.
Early Wednesday, a tornado was confirmed in Bellaire, roughly 18 miles to the west of Edgebrook. The tornado was given an EF-1 rating, with witnesses reporting swirling debris and a funnel cloud that touched down near the Azalea Place apartment complex.
