Bob Dylan will finally receive his Nobel Prize for Literature in Stockholm, Sweden during one of his concerts. The singer was awarded the Nobel Prize in October 2016, but did not go to the ceremony in December to accept the honor. The Swedish Academy, who is responsible for choosing the recipients of the Literature award, agreed to meet Dylan in private to hand him the prize. As a prize winner, Dylan is required to deliver a lecture by June in order to receive an award of $900,000. Bob Dylan became the first songwriter to win the Nobel Prize and was praised by the academy "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.”
