This video features maiden flight and several crashes with my new Hobbyzone Super Cub Trainer Plane that I got from a co-worker that didn't want it anymore. It is basically a really big version of a Hobbyzone Champ in the form of a Piper Cub (Piper PA-18 or Piper J-3 Cub).
It contains footage of the rebuild and maiden flight. The most eventful part is the RC Plane Crash at the end that has to be seen to be believed. I am sure this footage will make it onto my next RC Plane crash compilation video. The is the single biggest reason I like to have my flights on video because who doesn't like to watch RC Planes Crashing into the ground and into other objects?
This is a slightly smaller alternative to the E-flite Apprentice 15e RTF trainer plane. Both are proven trainer planes, so it is up to you to decide which plane is right for you and your flying space. Generally speaking the larger the plane, the more space it needs to take-off and land.
