Just picked up the Parrot Bebop Drone from BestBuy and so far it has proven to be one tough bird (pardon the pun)! 3 crashes so far and not one scratch, all crashes have been operator error and no fault of the Bebop. If you are use to flying with conventional transmitter like I am, the Bebop will take some getting use to! I hate that the SkyController is a $400 option but I do like having manual controls and extended range so I am sure I will be picking one up soon.
