How to maintain stability in Handstand? By strengthening your core and pelvic floor. In this video we have shown six challenging Vinyasa flow movements in headstand that will strengthen the core and the pelvic floor to help you maintain a very stable handstand. There are two aspects of a handstand upper body strength to take the body weight, and core & pelvic floor strength to maintain the balance. Doing the headstand movements mentioned in this video will strengthen your core and pelvic floor. Doing these vinyasas regularly will prepare your body for handstand balance soon. Apart from balance you also need strong shoulders and arms to take the full body weight. You need to strengthen your wrists, shoulders, and upper body.
Following are two ways you can design your sets:
1) Just do all the movements at one go as shown in the video. Repeat the complete set with the video, 3-5 times. Increase the number of sets with time.
2) Just to do one vinyasa at a time for 30-60 secs. Take rest for 20 secs and do the next vinyasa for 30-60 secs. Keep on doing this till you complete all the 6 vinyasas mentioned in the video.
