Cornell Law School, one of the top-ranked law schools in the nation, plans to offer a new juris doctorate
program at the soon-to-be opened Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island in New York City.
Students will be able “to explore the diverse legal issues raised by information
and technology, such as privacy and cybersecurity, as well as the constitutional and regulatory implications of new technology and big data,” he said.
The new program in information and technology law will accommodate up to 20 full-time law students each semester.
Cornell will not be the only law school in New York City that offers technology courses.
