Pretrial conference starts over German genocide in Namibia

It’s regarded as the first genocide of the 20th century - between 1904 and 1908, one hundred thousand Herero and Nama people were killed by German troops in what is now Namibia.
So a group of Namibian people has sued Germany in the United States.
