4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment is wrapping up 12 days of trainig in the desert near Fort Bliss, Texas.
The main task is to build and increase the speed and accuracy of the six firing platoons.
The entire battalion was running 24 hour operations and "jumping" locations about every day or so.
The exercise, the command posts were broken down into smaller nodes, creating smaller targets that are lighter, faster and more agile-increasing survivability.
