The federal board overseeing Puerto Rico’s finances will meet in New York on Monday,
when it must decide on a plan for ending the island’s chronic deficits.
Matthias Müller, the chief executive, will probably use the event to try to move the conversation away from the company’s diesel scandal and toward the potential of new products like the Arteon, a model unveiled last week
that will be positioned above the current top of the line, the Passat.
Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin will make his first foray onto the international stage on Friday, traveling
