A circus performer was left clutching his face after it was bitten by a crocodile during a performance.
The unnamed man suffered serious injuries during the show in north eastern Vietnam.
He approached the crocodile to try and calm it down, but as he crouched down and put his face near the 5ft to 6ft reptile’s mouth.
That’s when it snapped its jaw shut, shaking him but not actually going into the death roll.
Covering his face with his hands, the man walks away a few strides and crouches down in agony. Blood seeps out from behind his hands and people in the audience scream.
