New statistics show what may possibly happen According to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report, 14 million people would likely lose health care by 2018. The data shows that 5 million fewer people would be covered under Medicaid by 2018, while 6 million fewer Americans would be covered in the individual market by 2018. A total of 52 million people could be uninsured by 2026. Part of Republican's aim with this bill is to reduce federal deficits, which the CBO says would be cut $337 billion over 10 years.
