Shahrukh has Invited Javed Afridi to Play Match Between Peshawar Zalmi vs Kolkata Knight Riders ShahRukhKhan proposed T20 series b/w Kolkata Knight Riders & Peshawar Zalmi on a neutral venue (Dubai/London) Shahrukh Khan has suggested holding a cricket match between PSL winner Peshawar Zalmi and KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders), the team of IPL (Indian Premier League). Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan congratulated the Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi. King Khan who co-owns the KKR also offered to hold a match between KKR and Peshawar Zalmi at a neutral venue like Dubai or London if governments of India and Pakistan permit them to do so, TheNews reported. KKR has remained IPL champion for two years. Last year, Javed Afridi had met the Anurag Thakur President of BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and offered him to conduct matches between IPL and PSL. If both the countries succeed in holding cricket matches at the level of Leagues, then there would be a chance for cricket fans in Pakistan and India to watch the thrill that both the rival teams present. It has been almost ten years since bilateral series between India and Pakistan took place as former is always refusing to play with Pakistan in such series. Further, the recent deterioration of the relationship between both the countries that resulted in the ban on art and artists from both side of the border also closed doors for any cricket series between both the countries. Now, when the PSL 2017 has concluded successfully with a thrilling final at Lahore that left the entire world in awe due to excitement exhibited by the Pakistani fans and commitment shown by the security institutes, International cricket is coming back to Pakistan heralding another era for the return of sports.
