Unfortunately this is the state of our country now, such that stories like this receive legitimacy in our media.
Look I don’t believe this student has nefarious motives. Just like many trans students, he is likely very genuine in his desire to be the opposite gender.
But then that’s never been the argument. Once we make it legal for people to use the bathroom of their ‘identity’, we open the door to predators who will sexually exploit or abuse women and children. It may not be very frequent, but it will happen.
Also there’s just something wrong with allowing a boy in the women’s bathroom, no matter how he’s dressed. Not only is it against the natural order, it violates the privacy of all those who have to deal with this.
Besides, legitimizing a mental disorder like this should never happen in the first place.
