Russia is considering banning "Beauty and the Beast" from screening in the country if the movie breaches the country's law against "gay propaganda." The country's MP Vitaly Milonov called the film a “shameless propaganda of sin and perverted sexual relationships," in a letter to the culture minister. The remake of the film features Disney's first ever gay character and includes an "exclusively gay moment," director Bill Condon noted. In Russia, there's a law that prohibits the spreading of "gay propaganda" among minors.
