The living tend to keep away, especially during the night. Many folktales abound about haunted cemeteries or hitchhiking ghosts who request to be dropped off just outside of the gates to a cemetery. While many in the professional ghost chasing world argue that most cemeteries are unlikely to be haunted (after all, how many of your memories involve cemeteries?), few people are listening.
