Mariah Carey hasn’t had an easy start to 2017, because she still can’t let her blunder of a New Years Eve performance go.
She criticizes herself a little, but mostly everyone else in Rolling Stone magazine, saying “The New Year’s Eve situation – that couldn’t be helped.”
Also, anyone who isn’t a superstar singer probably just wouldn’t get it anyways. Mariah tells the magazine, “If I can’t explain it to the entire world, then they’re not going to understand it, because it’s not what they do. Just like I wouldn’t understand somebody who had a desk job and how to do that. I couldn’t. I literally am incapable of being in the real world and surviving.”
Wow… Wait, what? Mariah actually admits that she can’t survive the life of a normal person? Interesting.
Still going on about New Years Eve, Mariah says “This was out of my control, and had everything not been such a chaotic mess, then I would have been able to make something happen… I’m sorry… I blame everybody, and I blame myself for not leaving after rehearsal.”
Let it go Mariah, pretty sure everyone else has.
