Ekstraklasa leader Lechia Gdańsk wanted to extend their lead in the table, after a winning performance from Matchweek 21. It wasn't meant to be - the game was decided in the final minutes of play, giving Lechia 1 point, leaving them with only a 1 point advantage over 2nd place Jagiellonia.
