Donald Trump’s approval rating a month into his presidency is at a historical low compared to past presidents, according to a new poll. According to a Gallup poll over the weekend, Trump's 40 percent job approval is 21 points below the historic average for elected presidents around mid-February (61 percent). That's also 11 points below the lowest mid-February numbers for any other president in Gallup's history. Trump sees the majority of his support coming from his own party — 87 percent of Republicans approve. Only eight percent of Democrats and 35 percent of independents approve of the former real estate mogul.
