It’s another hard day in Sklif’s intensive care unit. A man has been rushed in with breathing failure symptoms following a heart attack and requires the attention of a resuscitation specialist. The doctors have to work quickly to diagnose the cause of his condition. Even though the prognosis is grim, they continue to do all in their power to save the patient’s life.
Meanwhile, a concerned citizen brings in a heavily intoxicated young woman who insists she is a victim of police brutality. But are her accusations true or just drunken ramblings?

It is Europe's largest research and development facility for emergency medical care, complete with a hospital, research labs, surgery rooms, burn treatment facility and much more. Sklif's Emergency Intensive Care Unit is the clinic's busiest unit, with doctors and nurses tending to those whose lives are hanging by a thread.
