The Possum lodges accommodation offers the special opportunity for guests to walk through the native bush to sandy shores of the lake or along parts of Waiau River, a 3-minute walk through the native beech forest to Pearl Harbour the Doubtful Sound Cruise departure point. Close and Suitable to a number of national parks walks to traverse.
Guests are able to interact with waterways on the sheltered Waiau River with rowboats, canoes and kayaks. It has a healthy population of trout for the eager fisher people. Or hop aboard one of the modern vessels and cruise in comfort to be guided through spectacular wilderness and Heritage sites. Still untouched, just as Captain Cook first discovered them. Local Restaurants and Cafes only a short walk from Possum Lodge.

Possum Lodge Camp:
Possum lodge, Camp welcomes you to its fully grassy parking areas. Most of the guests take full advantage of parking up for 2 nights. Van safely parked up quests can take a 5 minute Beech forest walk to the Doubtful Sound Departure Jetty’s. An enjoyable spot to return to after a long day to relax and reflect on the day’s marvelous experiences with other guests. In lodge Camp kitchen, Lounge, showers, Laundry & toilets are available to all of our guests.

• Extra Adults $18 each (free Wi-Fi).
• Children $7 (under 1 years / 3rd child free).
