While the pastry truly is easy to make, if you're pressed for time
you can use shop-bought pastry - making this quiche recipe even
easier!
You can also use this quiche recipe as a base and make your own
tweaks and additions. Cooked, chopped ham would work well instead
of bacon, for example. Any bacon can be used - streaky bacon or
pancetta lend a lot of flavour. Use single or double cream, or a
mixture of the two, depending on how rich you want your quiche to
be. For a richer quiche, you can also add grated cheese, such as
Gruyere, Emmental or Cheddar.
