Four female engineering students from the Gaza strip have innovated what could be a breakthrough discovery. The discovery will aim to find a solution for one of the main problems facing reconstruction in the blockaded strip. Rahma Ashour, Noor Al-Buheisi, Aya Abu Hashish and Angham Al-Madhoun came up with an idea to convert glass waste and coal into cement. The students were looking for an idea for their graduation project. The scarcity of construction materials in Gaza inspired the young girls to develop solutions through the available tools.
